Procom Valves PCIS10

The pneumatically operated shut-off valve of the PCIS10 series consists of a square valve body, an intermediate and a pneumatic actuator. It’s built to withstand the flow under the shutter (direct flow function), but is suitable for working in the opposite direction (reverse flow function), provided that determined above shutter pressures are not exceeded (see technical data table, data ΔP1). The actuator, made up of 2 deep-drawn parts in AISI 304 stainless steel, is resistant and suitable for heavy outdoor environments in terms of temperature/ humidity / presence of aggressive vapors. The drive spring inside is free; this allows a greater stroke of the rod compared to the technopolymer actuator. On the other hand, the inspection of the actuator must be carried out with extreme caution, scrupulously following the instructions for use and maintenance. The intermediate packing gland is made of Carbographite loaded PTFE V-rings and Viton, for optimal sealing both at high and low temperatures.
